These terms govern your use of athomehealth.co and the Halo app and device. By using the site or placing a reservation, you agree to them, along with our Privacy Policy and Reservation Terms.
Halo is made by At Home Health Co., a Delaware corporation based in Boston, Massachusetts. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean At Home Health Co., and "you" means the person using the site, the app, or a Halo device.
Halo is a wellness product. It measures balance, movement, and vital signs, and shows you how those readings compare with your own usual pattern. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not cleared or approved by the FDA.
Nothing Halo shows you is medical advice. Always talk to a doctor about your health, and never delay seeking care because of something the app did or did not show you. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
You may use the site and app for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with them, and do not use them in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else’s rights.
Some features require an account. Keep your login details private, give us accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under it.
You must be 18 or older to hold a Halo account. An adult may set up an account on behalf of a family member with that person’s knowledge and consent.
A reservation is a deposit that holds a founding-member spot. It is governed by our Reservation Terms and refunded under our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Prices shown on the site are in US dollars and may change before your order ships, though the price of a placed order is locked in.
Halo works without a subscription. Halo Pro is optional and billed monthly or yearly through our payment processor until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Founding members receive three months of Pro at no charge, after which Pro renews only if you choose to continue it.
You own your health data. We use it to run Halo for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. You can export it or ask us to delete it.
The Halo name, logo, software, designs, and site content belong to us. Buying a device or subscription gives you the right to use Halo, not to copy or resell any part of it.
The site, app, and device are provided as they are. We work hard to make Halo accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will detect every change in your health. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that state permits.
We may update these terms as Halo develops. If a change is material, we will email account holders and reservation holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use Halo after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.
Before filing anything, please email us. Most problems are faster to fix in a conversation.
